Tasting from 19.11.2020: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich, deep dark ruby. Very compact and appealing nose, shows fine balsamic notes of dark currant, pickled cherry and ripe plum, exciting. Round and expansive on the palate, opens on beautifully ripened fruit, fine-meshed tannin, in addition also fresh, vivid acidity, which gives the wine flow, on the finish a lot of tobacco.
