Tasting from 09.02.2018: Peter Moser

Medium amber, with gold reflections. An inviting sweet dried fruit bouquet, but also with ripe tropical fruit notes, some blossom honey, and a touch of citrus zest, and with aeration savouriness and bacon fat. Tight, finely meshed, freshly structured, some pear fruit, powerful but integrated tannins, with a pleasing acid structure, and some nougat and caramel on the finish. It has good length, with some minerality and persistence, and is typical of the Kakheti style of wine.
