Tasting from 08.09.2016: Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Othmar Kiem

Broad, dense black berry fruit - particularly nuances of blackberries and black cherry - and a background of eucalyptus and mint on the nose. There's a mineral touch, which develops well in the glass. The palate is substantial, with a powerful texture built around a sweet core of fruit and well packed tannins. This is opulent, but with a touch of herbal notes to balance. Ripe plums on the finish as well as some mineral nuances. Already drinking well.
