Just a hint of smoke and a touch of raspberry appear on the nose. That lovely raspberry note then carries over to the tender but textured palate where it meets riper cherry fruit. There is something sinuous about the fruit and the body of this slender but smooth wine, anchored firmly in fine, brisk tannin.
