Dark ruby garnet, opaque core, purple reflections, very subtle rim brightening. A very intense, blackberry aroma literally swells out of the bouquet, Cabernet concentrate, notes of cassis, liquorice, lavender oil, ethereal and floral at the same time, very suggestive nose, with sweet oak in the background, fresh red fruits such as cherry and salty minerality. Full-bodied but not exuberant, powerful and yet elegant, full of fruity sweetness, carried by ripe tannins and driven by a racy acid core, a hedonistic wine of enormous length and incalculable certain ageing potential.
