Tasting Notes
Ripe mango, yeast, iodine and Asian spices on the nose, with cardamom and cumin, also blackcurrant and freshly crushed juniper berry. Solid and nobly matured on the palate with fine but generous expression. The acidity is ripe but still vital, the mousse is quite fine. Long and consistent, an expressive flint wine from a time when there was almost only mass produced.
