Rich ochre in colour, bright golden yellow at the edges. Opens with notes of dried porcini mushrooms and old barrel staves, somewhat earthy, peaty, then ripe, golden figs and savoury myrtle. Roasted almonds on the palate. Shows considerable freshness, integrated and multi-layered, with salt and iodine on the finish. An extreme wine that will provoke different opinions, but definitely impressive.
