Deep dark ruby, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. Tobacco aroma underlay, black berry fruit, with nuances of blackberry and cassis, subtle hints of liquorice, and some blood orange. Powerful, substantial and complex, with a pleasant spiciness, a minerality, vivid but ripe tannins, and some nougat on the finish, as well as a black berry flavour and a touch of dark chocolate.
