Dark ruby with purple reflections and a delicate lightening at the rim. The nuances of oak underlay aromas of black forest gateau, ripe cherry, some liquorice and orange zest. The palate is complex, with blackberry fruit, fresh acidity and a touch of nutty rancio and dark nougat. This savoury, individualistic food wine has a long finish and is already drinking well.
