94 Points

Comparatively bright with mature colour on the rim. On the nose: rosehip, balsamic and savoury notes, some wood, cassis and slate. Sinewy on the palate, firm acidity and mineral tension meet a backdrop of supple, almost viscous richness. Very ripe berry flavours continue through to the finish, almost becoming raisined, in tandem with the typical Höllenberg minerality. Will be very long-lasting!
