Deep dark ruby, purple glints, black core, faintly lighter at the rim. Dark forest berry jam, a hint of spices, delicate hints of redcurrants, candied orange zest. Juicy, medium complexity, blackberries on the finish, tightly woven followed by savoury wood reverberations. A lovely food companion.
