Self Description

Scheiblhofer Heuriger Restaurant Council “The Quarter” After the great success of previous years as a pop-up, the Burgenland company Scheiblhofer opened the Heuriger "The Quarter" in 2022 in a new style in the middle of Andau. In addition to culinary hot and cold highlights, classic Heurigen dishes are offered, which score particularly highly with their regionality. After extensive modernization work, the Heurige "The Quarter" was reopened in the former village inn of Andau in 2022. Erich Scheiblhofer explains: “What began successfully as a pop-up Heuriger is now being continued. "The Quarter" is the perfect complement to the winery, the hotel and the guest house and we are very pleased that we can once again expand the gastronomic offer in Andau". The Heurige offers space for 250 people, with the cozy guest garden being a special highlight. In addition to a large part of the Scheiblhofer wine range, the dishes in "The Quarter" are exclusively made from regional ingredients. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, from quinoa and vegetable towers to beef tartare from Andau gray beef to fried pike-perch fillets. The Quarter is from July - 10.9. from Monday to Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and from 11.9. - 30.6. Open from Friday to Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. There is also the option of using the three newly created seminar rooms - Big John White, Big John, Peak of Glory - for seminars and events. Further information can be found at: www.thequarter.at. About Scheiblhofer The Weingut Scheiblhofer is located in Andau, in the district of Neusiedl am See and, with its own area of around 104 hectares, is one of the largest wineries in Burgenland and has gained international fame and popularity primarily through fine red wines such as "Big John" and "The Legends". The sustainability-certified company was set up by Johann Scheiblhofer and taken over by his son Erich Scheiblhofer in 2000. It employs around 115 people and fills around 1.5 million bottles a year. In addition to high-quality wine products, the family business is characterized by modernity, innovation, social skills and a sustainable way of working.
