Campriano is a historic farm with over 1000 years of history. It is located a few kilometres from Montalcino, in the Chianti Colli Senesi winegrowing region. Campriano has an area of 300 hectares, including 16 hectares of vineyards, and is situated at an altitude of 350 metres. The vineyards are mainly planted with indigenous varieties: Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia del Chianti. The Ciliegiolo, Aleatico and Syrah varieties have also been introduced on an experimental basis. Wine production has been supervised by the owner Ranuccio Neri since 1994.
