Kuenhof - Peter Pliger

Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2024

Winegrowing has a long tradition at the Kuenhof. For many years, the grapes were processed for the farm's own wine tavern, later they were delivered to the Stiftskellerei Neustift. In 1990, Peter and Brigitte Pliger ventured into self-marketing and their son Simon has since joined the business. The grapes are grown on 6.8 hectares of vines, with great emphasis placed on sustainability. The aim of the work at the winery is a balanced symbiosis between man, cultivated plants and nature - noticeable from the vineyard to the cellar.
