Tasting from 09.09.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright ruby with a slight purple tinge, brightening on the rim. Opens with notes of tobacco and pepper, some thyme in the background, then dark berries. A bit rough on the palate with grippy tannins, fine spice and medium bodied on the finish.
