Tasting Notes
Medium greenish yellow, silver reflections. Smokey bouquet, flint, damp stone, delicate dried herbs and lime zest, nuances of honey blossom, highly attractive, concentrated aroma. Powerful on the palate, hints of ripe stone fruit, honeydew melon, fresh acidity, salty-mineral touch on the finish, lingers for a very long time, will benefit from bottle ageing. This Assyrtiko monument is made from grapes from the three municipalities of Akrotiri, Fira and Megalochori and is fermented and matured in clay amphorae for 16 months.
