Tasting Notes
The core is still deep but also garnet-coloured with a broad garnet rim. A touch of leather and milk chocolate precedes the dense plum fruit on the nose. The palate adds a flicker of aromatic black elderberry that lends a slight lift, along with a touch of mint. The palate is still crunchy with fine, starched silk tannin, the fruit at the core is pure and profound. A wonderfully elegant wine, powerful, yes, but with every muscle and sinew defined, elongated, taut and yet soft with creaminess and fruit. A real stylistic evolution of channelling power into elegance.
