If money, time and safety were not an issue, most Germans would not take their suitcases very far: according to a recent survey by HolidayCheck, 74 percent would like to take a round trip through Germany. This puts the country surprisingly well ahead of Canada, the Maldives and New Zealand. One thousand Germans between the ages of 16 and 69 were asked which destinations they dream of traveling to - and what prevents them from traveling.
