"Cold dishes" Wine Bars in Salzburg
The Greißlerei style of the wine bar in the Edel-Hotel stands for an uncomplicated glass of wine. But you shouldn't draw conclusions about what's on offer! The 74-page menu, which breaks down the wine list, doesn't leave any stone unturned. A fine addition: fresh delicacies from the sushi master.
Sabine and Raimund Döllerer's self-definition ("a lively mixture of wine store and wine bar") already speaks volumes. It's not just on "long Fridays" that things get communicative over snacks and antipasti with the more than 400,000 bottles that the wine house has access to.
Wines from Burgundy are once again experiencing a boom. It's best to pop into Magazin and treat yourself to a few good wines. If you prefer other French regions, Italy or Austria - please come in too. More than 600 wines await you.
The number of wines on offer is huge. 35 are served by the glass and 1500 bottles can be delivered at the ideal temperature. Regular seminars and tastings (free twice a month) increase the desire for wine - but also for spirits and specialities.
90 years old - that's the age of the power plant in the restaurant that gives it its name. Brick walls, wooden beams and lots of organic food. The wine list is also exceptional, featuring top biodynamic winegrowers such as Weingut Monschein. Every sip is a pleasure.
Sigmund Haffner was not only mayor, but also a delicatessen dealer - so the address fits! Wine flows from the historic cellar with ham and lardo from free-range pigs bred by Andreas Felleis and Patrick Knittelfelder: enjoyment on all levels.

The famous Getreidegasse is a sparkling place. This is especially true when you enter the Italian bar and treat yourself to a glass of Franciacorta or Prosecco. Accompanied by some delicious antipasti, followed by an espresso that couldn't be better in Italy.
