"Outdoor Dining Area" Wine Bars in Geneva
Sharing plates made from fresh seasonal produce are served to a predominantly young, urban clientele in a modern and stylish ambience. Of course, the wine list is also very well stocked, with many labels that are popular in the natural wine scene.
Bleu Nuit is a "cave à manger". There is a large selection of wines here, mainly from natural production, as well as delicious seasonal cuisine. The vintage fridge in the corridor also provides access to the hotel's own speakeasy cocktail bar, Le Frigidaire.
Chez Bacchus is the wine bar and kitchen of the wine merchant Le Caveau de Bacchus. There is a large selection of wines from Europe, many of them at a reasonable price. Cheese and meat platters and a few dishes from classic French cuisine are also served.
In 2023, the iconic natural wine bar was taken over by the Bombar team opposite. As before, there are wines from sustainable production and a small menu with delicious bar food. The concept is reminiscent of a French wine bar: uncomplicated, direct and very refined.
Café de la Bourse has a wine list that will delight natural wine fans, but also has options for less adventurous drinkers. It also serves fine, seasonal bistro cuisine made primarily from local ingredients. The atmosphere is informal and the clientele young.
The Boca Bar serves "Bocatas, Bellota et Bulles", i.e. Spanish sandwiches, Iberian cured ham and a great selection of Champagnes. There are also some Champagne cocktails and tapas. The offer is not large but coherent, and the atmosphere is lively.
The cosy chalet atmosphere of the Uva Genève is also reflected in the wine list. The focus here is on good Swiss wines at a reasonable price. There are also platters of local cheese and charcuterie from further afield.
