Anantara to Open New Resort on Dubai’s World Islands

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has announced it will open a resort on the World Islands man-made archipelago in the Arabian Gulf. The new resort is the first hotel in the so-called 'South American continent' of the World Islands development, off the coast of Dubai, the luxury hotel operator said in a statement. Launched in 2003, World Islands is a collection of artificial islands shaped like a miniature world map. Anantara Hotels said the island will be dedicated to the resort, which guests can access by boat in 15 minutes from the Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. Its newest addition will launch in the last three months of this year.
