Copenhagen To Open the World’s Tallest Climbing Wall

The unique climbing wall, located on the side of a waste-to-energy plant in Copenhagen, is 85 metres tall and 10 metres wide.

The world’s tallest artificial climbing wall has been constructed and designed by Walltopia, the world's biggest manufacturer of man-made climbing structures. The design aesthetic mimics a mountain in the middle of the Danish capital while the bright appearance integrates with the rest of CopenHill power plant. At a height of 85 m/279 ft, the wall has five routes of various difficulty, each broken down into four 20-metre pitches. For the best outdoor climbing experience, all features such as roofs, arêtes, cracks and ledges are also included.
