Mr. Pejović, why do you think Croatia is currently experiencing a boom as a vacation destination in all price segments? Croatia's rise is the result of a fortunate combination of several factors. The country's breathtaking coastline and deep-rooted attachment to the land and its people have always been there, but global travel trends have so far lured tourists to the remotest corners of the world. Now, the tide has turned: They are increasingly looking for authentic, transformative experiences and destinations that promise both safety and thrills. The pandemic, despite its challenges, has also helped people reprioritize and reassess what is truly important. The desire for travel, learning and the simple pleasures of life has been rekindled and Croatia can fulfill these desires. In addition, significant improvements in infrastructure have increased the country's appeal, making it comparable to or even better than established destinations.
