Ponte Vecchio in Florence is no ordinary bridge, it is rather a reminiscence of the fascination of days long past, a place where time seems to stand still. Built in the first half of the 14th century, the building has survived turbulent times and has already undergone several minor renovations. Now, however, extensive maintenance work is being carried out for the first time, which is also intended to improve the aesthetics of the bridge.
