A ray of hope from the hotel industry in these times: On October 16, 2020, La Mamounia will reopen its doors to luxury and gourmet lovers from around the world after five months of extensive renovations. Under Parisian interior designers Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku, the rooms and public areas have been given a modern facelift with a new contemporary concept, while maintaining the traditional charm of the grand hotel. "A hotel should always be innovative and contemporary," said Pierre Jochem, general manager of La Mamounia for almost seven years. He is now all the more pleased that the balancing act between modernity and the heritage from 95 years of hotel history has succeeded.
