The longest hiking trail in the world is named after King Charles III. A new section has been opened so that the route now runs for 2,700 miles (4,345 kilometers) along the coast - with an interruption just once around the English island.

In planning since 2009, the King Charles III England Coast Path is due to be completed this year, according to reports in the British media. With around 4,345 kilometers along the entire English coast, it is the longest managed coastal hiking route in the world according to National Trails - making it a unique destination for hikers.
