For over 100 years, the people of Friesach have flocked here to enjoy coffee and freshly baked cakes. They are particularly fond of everything that has to do with cocoa beans - whether as a creamy hot chocolate, a classic Sacher cake or their own chocolates.
Cakes, pastries and the creamy summer ice cream varieties are made from regional ingredients in the friendly family business. The components for the different breakfasts are also handmade - bread and rolls are rarely so fluffy.

A somewhat hidden but beautiful old building is home to this classic coffee house, where the cake display case is always filled to bursting and the coffee is served with special care. The Schaumrollen (foam rolls) are legendary.

Claudia Röck earned her spurs in the chocolate centres of the world and then brought her knowledge with her to the Carinthia. Indeed, her creations - from the delicate praline to the g'schmackigen Polsterzipf - demonstrate great craftsmanship.
