Restaurant Bars in Baden-Wuerttemberg
The bar at the Fritz & Felix restaurant in the style of the Roaring Twenties is a new crowd-puller. The bar creates its own drinks and reinterprets classics in a modern way. Among other things, homemade vermouths and one of the largest collections of German gins and whisk(e)ys are served.
First-class bar-restaurant by gastronomic visionary Willi Schoellmann on the top floor of a former fashion house with a view over Offenburg. The cocktails are highly experimental, but fantastic, and are mixed with regional fruit brandies, for example. The food on offer is of the very highest quality.
The bar's arthouse cinema next door shows selected films. But here too, you can feel like you're in a movie. When you're sitting at a table in the corner, outside the city is streaming into the hip, trendy Jungbusch district, but it's nice to have a whisky sour. Of course, you have to drink it if you want the evening to be a classic.
If you don't just want to live life, but experience it too, then this is the place for you. The gustatory equivalent of a rollercoaster is delivered here not only with drinks that make you loop-the-loop, but also with an eight-course menu. It will blow the hair off your forehead and leave you flabbergasted.
It feels a little like being in Herrmann Hesse's "Magic Theater". As if you had escaped the world with its 24 hours and sunrises and sunsets for the duration of a few drinks. Dimmed lights, no arena: this circus surprises with extravagant creations that are as funny as clowns.
The sky is not full of violins here, but full of engines. But you still get a buzz in the bar, which exudes the flair of a jazz club in New Orleans. You simply feel like it. Friendly staff and good drinks contribute to a thoroughly successful bar experience.
