Delta Airlines introduces free in-flight WiFi

As of February 1, 2023, Delta Airlines began offering customers free onboard WiFi on almost all of its domestic routes within the United States. The internet service, which is provided in partnership with T-Mobile, is complimentary and currently available on most of Delta´s domestic services. However, Delta aims to introduce the service on all domestic flights and many international and regional aircraft by the end of 2024. In order to use the onboard WiFI, passengers will still need their phones to be in aeroplane mode. They can then connect to the DeltaWiFi network using their Delta SkyMiles account – passengers who don’t have an account will be invited to sign up for one for free.
