A new app will be used to record arrival data in advance from October 2026 and significantly speed up border controls. The solution replaces the previous system and is intended to facilitate smooth entry.

Thailand continues to drive forward the digitalization of its entry processes. With the new "Thailand Immigration Management System" (THIM) app, the Immigration Bureau wants to simplify the arrival of international guests in the future and at the same time speed up the processes at border controls.
