Colourful foliage and cooler temperatures - autumn is pretty to look at, but it also offers a variety of underrated flavours and traditions. One of the most popular autumn customs is collecting chestnuts, which brings back memories of childhood for many Austrians. In addition to chestnuts as decorative elements, the sweet chestnut, also known as chestnut, has its place in the autumn kitchen.
