For years, the Jante restaurant in Hanover has been one of the most consistent addresses in top German gastronomy. Opened in 2015 by Tony Hohlfeld and Mona Schrader, the restaurant earned its first Michelin star in 2016, followed by a second in 2020. Clear lines, long evenings, lots of planning – this is what the Jante stands for. Now, however, the concept is evolving.
