Classics like cevapcici are no longer so common in Croatia - and rarely as good as here. In general, anything grilled is recommended, served with crispy potatoes. Strong red wines from Tomaz in Motovun are ideal companions.
Simple bistro with chalky white walls and checkered tablecloths, if you like it casual. Good traditional classics on the menu: steaks or calamari, pasta with tomato ragout or richly topped pizza. Shrimp and tuna carpaccio also fit the bill.
Much more than just a pizzeria - owner and chef Stjepan Dunatov really puts his stamp on the place. His ideas flow into the design of the restaurant as well as the concept. Wood-fired pizza, homemade pasta, octopus salad and grilled dishes are both good and fun.
With a lovely atmosphere, and located right next to the church, this konoba offers simple dishes with authentic flavours. Braised fish on vegetables with oven-roasted potatoes, pasta with scampi, and the risotto are all wonderful. Make sure to leave room for dessert.
