It is worthwhile to visit them with a guide. This way you learn exciting facts.

At least a short hike should not be missing on any Menorca bucket list. Because over the island stretch numerous beautiful hiking trails. The most famous among them is the Camís de Cavalls. Eine weitere scenic tour leads on 12 kilometers from the lighthouse Favaritx in the Naturpark S’Albufera d’es Grau to Sa Mesquida. Only about 7 kilometers long, but lined with steep walls, is the path through the gorge of Barranc d’Algendar.
6. Visit secluded beaches
Most of the beaches on Menorca are unspoilt and natural. The reason are the strict nature conservation laws. © Shutterstock
Nature conservation is written in capital letters on Menorca. Accordingly, many lonely and undeveloped coastal stretches still exist. To find the most beautiful beaches, you usually walk through small pine forests or over hills. For this you are rewarded secluded coves with crystal clear water. Top tip: Cala Turqueta, Playa de Cavalleria and Cala Pilar are considered the most beautiful beaches of Menorca.
7. Hit the city

The Island capital Mahón ist in mehrfacher Hinsicht sehenswert. Zum einen findet sich hier der largest natural harbor in the Mediterranean and the second largest of its kind (after Sydney) in the whole world. Its dimensions are best experienced during a Harbor tour by glass bottom boat.
