One thing that particularly distinguishes the new Mövenpick Hotel in Basel is that the construction process was completely sustainable. Responsible for this were the Architects Miller & Maranta. The interior of the hotel is also a real eye-catcher. The elegant interior design comes from the pen of the internationally renowned designer Matteo Thun. Designed as an elegant state-of-the-art hotel, the Mövenpick is part of the new Baloise Park and is perfectly located right next to Basel's SBB railroad station.
The modern hotel has 234 rooms and 30 suites, including 20 junior suites, nine suites and an exclusive presidential suite. The atmospheric interior follows the motto "Timeless Modern" by emphasizing warm colors and natural materials. The style mix of elegant Swiss simplicity and timeless comfort is deliberately chosen here.
