In the heart of the French Pyrenees lies Artouste-Laruns, a charming and affordable ski resort with 27 kilometers of slopes at an altitude of 1,400 to 2,100 meters. The peaceful atmosphere and the view of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau make the resort particularly attractive for families and beginners, but advanced skiers will also find a variety of slopes. 2. Lans-en-Vercors, France

The ski resort also impresses in terms of price: a day pass costs €24 in the high season and just €20.40 in the low season. Accommodation is also affordable, between €16 and €28 per person per night, depending on the season.
3 Réallon, France
Tucked away in the Southern Alps in the Hautes-Alpes département, Réallon offers spectacular views of Lac de Serre-Ponçon. The ski area lies between 1,560 and 2,140 meters and is ideal for skiers who prefer quiet slopes. With 30 kilometers of slopes, there are numerous green and blue runs for beginners as well as red runs for more experienced skiers. The peaceful atmosphere and proximity to hiking trails also make Réallon attractive for winter hikers. The prices are moderate: a day ski pass costs €29, both in high and low season. Accommodation ranges from €14 to €18 per person per night, depending on the season.
