This has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections. There are aromas of vivid dark fruit, elderberry, sloe, a perfectly matching savouriness, along with pepper, and some smoke. It is elegant on the palate, with a ripe beautifully integrated acidity, fine tannins, and dark wild berry, and subtle toasty notes resonate on the long finish.
