Tasting Notes
The nose immediately recalls the springy crumb of freshly baked sourdough, with more air lemony notes of brightness shine through. The palate adds both a richer notion of salty shortcrust and a vivid and pure lemony note - thanks to the high proportion of Chardonnay. There is a wellspring of freshness that seems to bind the rich autolysis and still youthful citrus notes. There is lovely resonance and lasting freshness. Evolved but with enough freshness to provide pleasure for years. The finish is beautifully long and lemony.
