The red wine Le grand Pas Rouge, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine du Pas de l'Escalette has been rated in 2020 by Dominik Vombach und Benjamin Herzog with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grenache, Syrah, Carignan from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
At first somewhat restrained on the nose, then dried plum, blackberry and chokeberry. In addition, fine, savoury hints of black pepper, nutmeg as well as cigar box. On the palate quite elegant, still seems youthful, easily noticeable tannin, mineral impression on the finish.
