The red wine Ceniprimo Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Ricasoli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese
It has a clear and intense ruby colour. With a finely drawn nose there are aroma notes of raspberry and sour cherry, plus some basil and oregano. It has taut and gripping tannins on the palate, and it develops a lot of drive, but it still appears very young and hearty.
