Dark ruby-garnet color, deep core, violet highlights, and a delicate lightening at the rim. Hints of licorice, cassis, and fresh blackberry jam, underpinned by a touch of fine wood. Powerful, juicy, with a red-berry texture, pronounced tannins, and a mineral finish; will benefit from further bottle aging.
