Dark ruby-garnet color, opaque core, violet highlights, delicate lightening at the rim. Subtle herbal spice, a hint of nougat, dark berry fruit, black cherries, candied orange zest. Powerful, spicy blackberry notes, pronounced, somewhat assertive tannins, a delicate hint of dark chocolate on the finish, subtle tannins in the aftertaste; will benefit from further bottle aging.
