Subtle use of wood and some nutty varietal aromas show on the nose. It's full-bodied in the mouth with good texture in the background and a well-supporting acidity. The structure-giving motifs are well harmonised through to the compact finish, making for a balanced but at the same time very dry wine with very good ageing potential.
