The orange wine »Orange« Riesling trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Sohns has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Like the name, like the colour. Fine woody and smoky tones, dried fruit, dried apple peel and apricot, some sage, wormwood herb. Firm and tightly built on the palate, emphatically dry, also demanding, the phenolics still seem a bit young, tightly meshed extract, long.
