Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and subtle ochre-tinged lightening. Delicate notes of fine wood, a hint of licorice and cassis, subtle hints of nougat and spices, underpinned by candied mandarin zest. Powerful and complex, with ripe cherry fruit, round, well-structured tannins, and a chocolatey finish; a very full-bodied wine that pairs well with food and will benefit from bottle aging. (Available only in magnums.)
