Stylish bar with a creative drinks menu, on which the classics are sorted by year of provenance as a journey through time, plus fine wines and small snacks. In-house creations such as "Tiki Taki" tropical mild, "Lavender Sundown" with lavender, Pinot Gris and grapefruit or the unusual "Hardy's Cucumber Salad" with gin and cucumber liqueur.
Twelve gins in one evening? No problem at the Moralist tasting, from classic to unusual, such as "Elephant Gin" with a hint of lavender or "Bathtube" with cardamom and pine resin. The creative cocktails are also impressive: "Moralist" with vanilla, strawberry, passion fruit and coconut, "Black Teika" with star anise, vodka and cherry juice.
The mudflats make you thirsty, so the elegant bar is just right for a longer break. The North Sea freshness on the plate satisfies the small appetite as a fish roll with herring on butter brioche. Signatures in the glasses with fruity "Watermelon Paloma" or "Passionfruit Martini", classics with a twist such as "Espresso Rumtini".
Short holiday on the deckchairs including a swim in the Baltic Sea. Nice selection of refreshing drinks and harmonious wines with a view of the water. Classics and own creations such as "Seebar Royal" with rosé, Prosecco, soda mint and elderflower. Plus delicious dishes from breakfast to dinner, such as stone-baked pizza, burgers and BBQ.
Drinks simply taste even better with a view of the Kiel Fjord. "Sunny Day" with whisky and cranberry, the "Sharp Gooseberry" with American honey, confit and gingerberry or the "Kiel Sunrise" with sea buckthorn liqueur and mint. Non-alcoholic "Veni Vini Vici" with orange and lime. Beer from the Kiel brewery.
Inspired by travelling, owner Paolo Lascari mixes "Orient Express" with espresso and Kahlúa, "Emergency Brake" with passion fruit and rum and "Catapult" with rum and gingerberry in just 80 square metres. "Little Italy" salutes the old homeland in the south with Aperol, gin, lime juice, cucumber and gingerberry; whilst there's also limoncello made to a family recipe.
Located directly on the marina with a view of the old town, gastronomic diversity and first-class bar culture have the upper hand. Typical: the mix of international favourites and regional specialities. For example, the "Holsteiner Margarita" with apple brandy and Cointreau. Also exciting: "Earl Collins" with tea-infused gin, cardamom cordial and lemon.
Authentic fine Thai cuisine in an elegant ambience and sophisticated drinks as a flavour experience. How about a "Red Ginger" composed of Campari, ginger ale, Prosecco and ginger cordial with green curry?
