The top ski resorts for après-ski

Skiing, partying and dancing: These resorts offer hut fun and drinks in the snow from dignified to wild.

Skiing to the disco: you can take this almost literally in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. The ski circus scores with great huts for every taste and a great après-ski scene. From the Kohlmais, you ski from the "Panorama Alm" via the "Maisalm" and "Hinterhag Alm", which for decades was known far beyond Austria's borders for the "Herzerl-Tanz", and this year will be used again, to "Bauer's Schi-Alm". From there, it is only a few steps to the center, where one restaurant follows the next.

All those who like it a little quieter are in good hands in Hinterglemm. In the middle of the Reiterkogel, nestled discreetly in the winter landscape, lies the "Wieseralm", which has established itself above all among stylish, pleasure-oriented connoisseurs.

The Beatles already knew that Obertauern is fun. They shot the film "Help!" there and, according to rumors, really let it rip. Even today, right next to the slopes, right next to the hotels, you can practise the well-known stop-off right after your winter sports fun. Let's start with a Raspberry on the "High alpine pasture" terrace of the sisters Martina Krings and Christiane Perner-Krings. Another Obertauern icon is clearly the "Lürzer Alm".

"Après-ski is only once a year"

Most Schlager fans know the "Mooserwirt" in St. Anton am Arlberg from TV, which describes itself as probably the worst ski hut on the Arlberg. From 15:30, the motto there is full throttle.

Whether it's sunny or snowing, the legendary "Schnaps-Hans" at the summit of the Schmittenhöhe, the local mountain of Zell am See, which is this year's venue for the Falstaff Genuss-Skitage , has had many fans of all ages for decades, who cavort around its large bar. Of course, there's also dancing - and that too at the bar with "Vitamina Potenzia" and a special "ski water" in hand.

Dancing is also back in Ischgl

The descent from the "Paznauner Taja" has often attracted media attention. The party location, which closes at around 4 p.m., is so well attended that traffic builds up on the valley descent.

In the award-winning restaurant on the second floor, nothing hints at what goes on below in the "Trofana Alm". The venue combines an après-ski bar, restaurant and disco in one.
