The white grape variety (also UD-55.100) is an interspecific new breed between Sauvignon Blanc x Bianca. The Sauvignon Nepis variety was also created with the same parents. The mid-ripening vine is resistant to both types of mildew but somewhat susceptible to Botrytis.
