The Sauvignon Blanc has already been awarded the world championship title, and the entire wine selection is of high quality. It pairs perfectly with Styrian snacks and tastes best on the panoramic terrace overlooking the entire South Styria Nature Park.
The view over the steep vineyards is magnificent. Under old linden trees or in the cozy parlor, you can enjoy a traditional snack platter and sweets from our own pastry kitchen. These pair perfectly with the typically fruity wines, especially those from the Sernauberg vineyard.
In 2005, this rustic, charming wine tavern switched to organic farming. The vegan organic platter takes it one step further, winning over even more die-hard fans of the classic version. Otto Knaus serves his own organic wines with it.
Feeling good is easy here. The brick vaulted ceiling of this 360-year-old winemaker’s house is just as impressive as the terrace. Handcrafting is a matter of pride, and many products are refined according to old family recipes. The flagship wines come from the Eckberg and Sulztal vineyards.
The location in a vineyard is exclusive; from the wine tavern, you can marvel at the steep vineyards all around. The menu features hearty regional snacks. If you’re looking to treat yourself, order the Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Ried Urlkogel.
A charming wine tavern surrounded by vineyards. The classic wines are aged in stainless steel tanks, but in good vintages they are transferred to barrique barrels. They pair perfectly with delicacies such as Brüstl, spreads, and the Krenterrine.
Wine has been produced here for 100 years. Günter Nekrep produces a variety of wines, ranging from classic to frizzante and sparkling. Appetizing dishes include open-faced sandwiches, a traditional board snack, and smoked sausages. To round out the meal, try the Blaue Wildbacher grape brandy.
