The winery can look back on a long history. One of its flagship wines is the Sauvignon Ried Kranachberg. Spreads, raw game ham platters and juicy, lean smoked ham are just as much a part of the Buschenschank's repertoire as fish and cheese.
The landscape around the winery is spectacular and the wines are characterised by their varietal typicity, in the spirit of Styrian classicism. You will be spoilt with snacks, cheese and smoked meats, various salads and great homemade pastries.
The Buschenschank was reopened this year. Reinhard Muster's team focusses entirely on classic delicacies: Spread breads, vintner salads, beetle beans, Brettljause and sweets such as kernel oil tiramisu or apple strudel. Fairly priced wines.
The authentic Buschenschank serves bacon and pork with horseradish, while the cooked ham melts in your mouth - in summer you can enjoy it in the small garden or at a picnic in the vineyard. Overnight stays are also a highlight.
Organic is a way of life on the estate. Otto Knaus is synonymous with vegan organic wines. He also loves vegan snacks - in addition to the classic ones. The platters are a feast for the eyes as well as the palate, the juicy apple pie is a dream.
The yellow house with the luxury rooms is visible from afar. The wines are juicy and fruity with great drinking pleasure. Typical Buschenschank dishes such as spreads, scarlet runner bean salad, pork brisket and seasonal salad variations are also great fun.
On a hill surrounded by vineyards, guest rooms, a beautiful pergola and fruity wines to stimulate your drinking. Much of the produce for the Buschenschank comes from their own garden. Brettljause, crispy brüstl and cream cheese with seed oil are also a delight.
Günter Nekrep produces a wide range of quality wines that harmonise wonderfully with the Buschenschank snack. On the panoramic terrace you can enjoy sandwiches, smoked sausages and the finest cheeses. You should also try the fluffy Buchteln.
